Trick-or-Treating!

This evening Jenna, Bradley and Emmalee went trick-or-treating. Well we ended up going to Hunter's neighborhood (there are more kids there). They had fun! Emmalee really got the hang of it! She walked from door to door for over an hour and didn't ask to be carried. At the end of the evening she couldn't carry her bucket of candy... it was so full! She was really into it. Jenna and Bradley got to go off on their own and when we got back home they went out for another hour. I think Jenna had fun trick-or-treating for the first time. More pictures will come.. I only used my camera for a little bit then ended up with Jill's.. and it is at her house.. Will update asap!!

Jenna's Halloween Play

Happy Halloween!!

Today was the big day! Finally the day Jenna has been working hard for! The play! Her drama class put on "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" for the first graders at the elementary school next door. It was supposed to be only one first grade class.. but it grew from 30 first graders to 100 first graders. Plus all the parents of the students in the play and about 7 or 8 other class from the Junior High. (mostly English classes) so they had a full house! It was wonderful! They did a great Job!!! I was so proud of Jenna. Emmalee went and watched too and she was so entralled with the whole thing she sat through the who play just staring at the stage and wanting to know where the doggie went.

Here are a few pictures! I know her daddy is dying to see them!

Mother Natures Farm

Jenna, Emmalee and Hunter at Mother Natures Farm

Since Halloween is just around the corner. Haunted houses, decorated houses and pumpkin patches are popping up all over the place. Since we didn't pick up a pumpkin to carve on our trip to Schefps farm we decided to take a trip to Mother Natures Farm just for carving pumpkins. This way Mama could play Mamarazzi once again. (she really loves it!) This time she was carrying Aunt Jill's camera too and everyone thought she was from the paper!! TOO FUNNY!!

We went with Aunt Jill and Emmalee and Sarah and Hunter met us there. It is just down the street from their house so they were able to walk there. Poor Jenna had just gotten home from a sleep over... and she was super tired. Emmalee was ready for a nap. Both did really well, considering it was super busy. Jenna and EmmaleeHunter
All our pretty little pumpkins!

Jenna had a nice time with Lacie they went to a concert at Lacie's church and then Jenna slept over and spent sunday morning and early afternoon there. It is nice to see her finally accept invitations to do things with her new friends.

Going to a Halloween Party...

Jenna and I got invited to a Halloween party last night. We had to be wearing a costume. It was a nice party, we did get a little cold but that is okay. Jenna went as a woodland fairy and I went as a mad surgeon. Here are our a few pictures of our costumes...
Thanks Jill for the great foto's...

New wheels!

Jenna and I finally have our own transportation. No more asking to borrow a car. Thanks to Mom and Dad and Jill for all those times we were able to borrow your car. Yes you can borrow ours if you need or wish.

We now have a black 2002 Ford Mustang Convertible...

Here is our new baby....

October Break!

Wednesday afternoon was the start of Jenna's October break. Unfortunately it is only 2 1/2 days long. Every other school district here in Arizona has at least a week. Well we were going to make the most of it. I picked Jenna up after school and took her to lunch and then we went to Michaels to find a few things for her Halloween costume. While we were in Michaels she found a haunted gingerbread house she wanted to make. So when we got home she started right on it.. I think she really had fun making it. Here are a few pictures of her making it.

Thursday we went to lunch with Papa Jim and Nana. Later Jenna finally got ahold of Dani and I took them to the mall. I only dropped them off and later picked them up. Jenna really loved the freedom of being able to go alone. She really misses not being able to jump on her bike and go into town to go shopping. She and Dani really had fun. And shopped til they dropped.

Friday we met Jill, Emmalee, Hunter and Nana for lunch again. We then went to the bank and opened a teen checking account for Jenna. Now she has a debit card here. She has been bugging me for one since we got here. Then we went with Jill to watch her do a graduation speech for Apollo colleges. Jill was a little nervous but did an awesome job.

Today we got up early and went with Jill and Emmalee to Schnepf's farm. It was a bit of drive to Queen Creek and we weren't sure what to expect. Just that there were rides, and pumpkins. It was beautiful weather, breezy and cooler (88-95 degrees), but sunny. Unfortunately Jenna was a bit old for it. Emmalee was almost too young but we did all get on the roller coaster. Emmalee wasn't sure what she thought about it but she didn't cry and she did say she wanted to go again. Jenna was reminded of her old school at the petting zoo. We almost couldn't get her away from the donkey. We spent the whole morning and part of the afternoon there so I don't think she had too bad of a time. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Emmalee!!!

Little Miss Emmalee Rose turns 2 years old in the morning. She has already celebrated her birthday in a big way on Saturday. She was spoiled rotten. Jenna and I just wanted to wish her a very happy birthday to her.
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Emmalee
Happy birthday to you!!

Emmalee is such a super sweet little girl. She loves her Jenna to pieces and wants to help her do her homework all the time. She loves to to everything that her Jenna does. Today in the car Jenna was playing with her hair and Emmalee was trying to do exactly what Jenna was doing. She is so funny. Hope she has a wonderful day!
Love always,
Auntie Jodie and Jenna
